We are Christine and Franck — wildlife photographers and owners of Tenorio Lodge, a small boutique hotel in Costa Rica overlooking the Tenorio Volcano and just minutes from the Río Celeste waterfall.
For nearly 20 years, we have made Costa Rica our home, balancing the daily life of our hotel with our passion for nature and wildlife photography.
Today, many of our images are captured right here at Tenorio Lodge, where two decades of reforestation and conservation work have turned the property into a thriving sanctuary for an impressive variety of species.
Our photography is dedicated to portraying genuine moments of wildlife behavior — from elusive mammals to vibrant birds, reptiles, amphibians, and the tiny creatures that reveal the hidden world of the forest.
Living at the edge of Tenorio National Park gives us exceptional access to nature, allowing us to document animals in their natural environment and observe how the landscape evolves throughout the year.
We are also actively involved in local conservation efforts, working alongside community organizations, guides, and environmental projects committed to protecting wildlife and natural habitats.
Our photographs are distributed internationally by NaturAgency, a specialized nature and wildlife photography agency, allowing our work to reach a wider audience and support conservation-driven storytelling worldwide.
Through our photographs, we hope to raise awareness about the fragility and importance of these ecosystems and inspire a deeper appreciation for Costa Rica’s remarkable biodiversity.
Whether hosting guests at Tenorio Lodge or capturing moments behind the camera, our purpose remains the same: to share the beauty of this region and contribute, in our own way, to its preservation.
Pura Vida!
